SOLON TOWN CENTER FESTIVITIES
The Solon Historical Society and the Solon Center for the Arts will provide entertainment
for family enjoyment on Sunday, August 16th from 2 – 5 p.m. The Historical Societies 24th annual vintage car show on the Museums Grounds will showcase restored classic
vehicles from all eras.
All vintage car owners are invited to compete for the Peoples
Choice Award for the most popular vehicle displayed. No entry fee. Vehicles should
be present between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. for registration and remain until 5:00 p.m.
The Museum will be open and docents available to answer Solon's early history questions.
A Civil War Encampment will be present with enactors displaying uniforms
and weaponry The Arts Center will be open for viewing, to meet instructors and for early registration for fall Music, Arts, Drama and Dance classes. The play "City of Angels"
will be presented at 4:00 p.m.
